He changed the way industry thought about businesses and opportunities and even had a deep impact on the thought process of anyone he came in contact with, or cared to know about Apple. Had Steve Jobs been alive today, it would have been his 57th birthday. The man who shaped contemporary consumer technology died on October 5, 2011.


He battled cancer and other health issues for several years and had a rare form of pancreatic cancer.

FT Magazine Article Submissions for 2012 FT Magazine

Closing Date: 31st March 2012

Submissions should be between 400 and 1000 (max) words, although exceptions may be considered.

They ought to be genuinely interesting and useful to a substantial proportion of 14,000 expected readers of the SKLPC magazine.

To be accepted, the articles MUST be your own written contributions. If other sources are used, references must be provided.
 
Gujarati articles are especially welcome!

SKLPC 40th anniversary Annual Mela Cultural Program Entry Details

Dear friends,

Please forward this information to the current gham/organisation secretary and cultural co-ordinator. Please inform as many people as possible.

Cultural program Part 2 (approximate time 15.00 – 17.00)

Theme: Cultural Dances around 4 decades i.e. 70s, 80s, 90s and 2000 to present.

Dances will be accepted on first come first serve basis for each decade and deadline for entry is April 15th. (If after this date we do not receive many entries, we will be opening entry to all, details to follow)

(There may also be a fashion show portraying our change in fashion over these decades and this will be incorporated with the dance performances. The fashion show has yet to be confirmed)

CRITERIA for the cultural show:
  • We will not be holding a competition this year.
  • Groups entries with minimum of 4 participants to maximum of 14 participants.
  • Medley songs will be accepted, however, please forward song details as soon as possible to avoid song duplication.
